Our Process
From first conversation to warranty — and what you should expect at each step.
A process built around decisions
Construction schedules are usually described as a sequence of activities. In practice, they are a sequence of decisions, and the project moves at the speed those decisions are made. Our process is designed to put the right information in front of the owner early enough to decide.
Every project is different, but the stages and the responsibilities are consistent. The owner always knows what we need, when we need it, and what happens next.
What to expect
Prequalification and pursuit
We provide our prequalification packet, review the contract requirements and confirm that the scope, schedule and risk profile fit our capabilities. No bid is submitted without a field review.
Preconstruction
Estimating, constructability review, scheduling and risk planning happen together. On alternative-delivery work, this is where the target-value design and cost model are developed.
Permitting and procurement
We coordinate permits, long-lead equipment and subcontractor awards against the construction schedule so the first crew is not waiting on paperwork or a pump skid.
Construction
Our superintendent owns the field. Weekly progress, cost and safety reporting goes to the owner, and the decision log tracks every open item with a name and a date.
Commissioning
Systems are tested individually, then together, then under automatic control. Operator training uses the installed equipment and the owner’s own SCADA.
Closeout and warranty
As-builts, O&M manuals, spare parts, training records and warranty documentation are delivered as a complete package, followed by a structured warranty walk.
What you can expect from us
A weekly report that says what happened, what is next and what is at risk. A decision log with named owners and dates. A superintendent who answers the phone. A project manager who tells you about a cost issue before it appears in an invoice.
We also expect things from the owner: timely decisions, access to the site, and a clear point of authority. When those are in place, projects move.
