Water Treatment Plant Construction
Treatment plants that reach rated capacity on commissioning day.
A water plant is a process, not a building. We manage the civil, mechanical, electrical and controls work as one integrated system, and we bring operators into the conversation early enough to change the design while change is still cheap.
Scope of work
- Raw water intake and conveyance
- Coagulation, flocculation and clarification
- Rapid sand, membrane and granular activated carbon filtration
- Disinfection, chemical feed and residuals handling
- Clearwells, storage and high-service pumping
- SCADA, instrumentation and controls integration
Technical capabilities
- Membrane filtration and reverse osmosis systems
- Dissolved air flotation and ballasted clarification
- Ozone, UV and chlorination systems
- Large cast-in-place concrete tanks
- Process piping and valve galleries
- Commissioning, optimization and operator training
Capacity is the deliverable
Owners do not buy concrete tanks; they buy treated water at a defined flow and quality. We organize the project around a commissioning plan that proves each process train independently before the plant is placed in service. If a filter cannot pass its acceptance test, the project is not done.
Working inside an operating plant
Most upgrades happen while the existing plant keeps producing water. Tie-ins are planned around hydraulic limits, with temporary treatment, bypass pumping and sequencing reviewed jointly with operations. Isolation valves are tested before they are trusted.
Civil, process and controls under one schedule
Mechanical and electrical subcontractors are selected during preconstruction and integrated into the same schedule as the concrete crews. That eliminates the classic gap where the building is finished and the process systems are still waiting for a coordination decision.
Commissioning and operator training
We write the commissioning plan with the owner’s operations staff, run the systems through their full control range, and deliver training on the equipment actually installed. The result is a plant the operator can run confidently on day one.
