Estimator
Prepare heavy civil estimates from means and methods, with involvement in alternative-delivery pursuits and subcontractor bid management.
You will build estimates for bridge, roadway, water and wastewater projects, working from the production rate up rather than applying a factor to someone else’s number. The role includes quantity takeoff, crew and equipment pricing, subcontractor analysis and participation in design-build cost model development.
What you bring
- 5+ years estimating heavy civil or water infrastructure
- Strong understanding of crew production rates and equipment costs
- Experience with HCSS HeavyBid or comparable software
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
- Experience pricing alternative-delivery work preferred
