Pump Stations & Lift Stations
Wet wells, pump systems and force mains built to run unattended.
A pump station is only as good as its wet well hydraulics and its controls. We coordinate the civil structure, pumping equipment and electrical systems as one package, then prove them together under load.
Scope of work
- Wet wells, dry pits and valve vaults
- Submersible, vertical turbine and dry-pit pumps
- Force mains and discharge piping
- Electrical buildings, MCCs and VFDs
- Standby generators and transfer switches
- Telemetry, instrumentation and controls
Technical capabilities
- Deep caissons and sheet-pile excavation
- Pump installation, alignment and testing
- Vibration and hydraulic performance testing
- Bypass pumping while existing stations run
- Odor control and ventilation
- SCADA integration and remote monitoring
Small projects, high consequence
A lift station failure is a public health event. We treat the wet-well hydraulics, pump selection and backup power as a single reliability problem, and we test the station across its full operating range before handover.
Working around existing flows
Rehabilitation projects usually require the station to keep pumping. We install temporary pumps and bypass piping, verify capacity, and maintain continuous monitoring until the new system is proven. Shutdown windows are planned with operations and kept short.
Electrical and controls integration
Our electrical partners are involved from preconstruction so the MCC layout, generator interface and telemetry protocol are settled before the building is poured. Start-up is coordinated with the owner’s SCADA team, not handed over as a punch-list item.
Operator-ready closeout
Training covers normal operation, alarm response and manual fallback. Spare parts, recommended stock and maintenance schedules are delivered with the O&M manuals.
